Trammel nets are made by hanging three webs to a shingle tip and bottom line. There
are two outside webs or walls and an inside web of small mesh. The outside websare larger size mesh. When fish strike the net, they go through the first outside
mesh or wall, and then strike the inside web, pushing it through the other outside
web, where it forms a pocket and holds the fish. Sometimes several big fish will
be found in one pocket, where they have followed each other like sheep
